It is specially formulated to reduce dandruff, itching in the scalp, reduces desquamation, regulates sebum production, clean the scalp. It contains the FDA approved anti dandruff agent ZPTO, which clears the fungal infection from the scalp without imparting the dryness like other harsh anti dandruff agents like ketoconazole. ZPTO (ZINC PYRITHIONE) is an anti-fungal agent which is proven by FDA. It shows bacteriostatic action and highly effective against dandruff causing organism. This medication is used to treat a certain skin condition (seborrheic dermatitis, a type of dandruff). In this condition, it is believed that a fungus infects the scalp, resulting in dry, flaky skin (scales) on the scalp.
KERTYOLS (SALICYLIC ACID) is a keratolytic agent which breaks and removes the dead cells forming the flakes. Also has antibacterial action. Helps in clearing the cell debris and microbes from the scalp. It works synergistically with ZPTO to give superb clinical efficacy and prevents recurrent dandruff.
BIOPOLYMER (CHITOSAN) acts as an antistatic which maintains static electricity in Hair. It provides the conditioning effect to the hair. Chitosan is thereby protective hair from wavy hair and bleaching agents. It helps to retain moisture in low humidity and to maintain hair's style in high humidity.
